No audio in a direction between SIP Phone and UA phone
Re: No audio in a direction between SIP Phone and UA phone
Yes in case with INTIP there is only one-direction of RTP 172.72.4.50-->172.72.4.26. In a trace there are ARP requests from 172.72.4.26 and ARP responce from 172.72.4.50 but for me it looks like INTIP does not know where to send RTP packets. Did you check all IP (mask, router etc) on INTIPB?
If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.

On my lab, I have tested with only one switch :

172.72.4.22 foussiermain maincpu node000000 localmain twinmain
172.72.4.1 router defaultrouter
255.255.252.0 subnetmask
172.72.4.20 foussierlm standcpu twincpu_eth twincpu_best
Here the ip config og the intip2 :
Config:view
Hardware information :
- Ethernet address (MAC) : 00:80:9F:53:67:04

Re: No audio in a direction between SIP Phone and UA phone
Hi
As I understood:
AS 172.72.4.22
GD at MG 172.72.4.24
INTIP at crystal 172.72.4.26
SIP set 172.72.4.50
You call from 1230 SIP set to 1183 set behind GD, it is OK. When you call from 1183 to 1230, what does it happen?
You call from 1230 SIP set to 1216 set behind INTIP, it isn't OK. When you call from 1216 to 1230, what does it happen?
Are the calls from sets behind INTIP to sets behind GD OK?
I saw wireshark, INTIP doesn't send RTP packets from itself to 172.72.4.50 SIP set, but it asks broadcast who is 172.72.4.50 and it receives the answer. Something like INTIP doesn't understand where it needs to send the packets.
Regards.

When I call from 1183 to 1230 SIP, it's also ok.
When I call from 1216 to 1230 SIP, it's also NOT OK.
Calls from sets behind INTIP to sets behind GD are OK.
thanks

Re: No audio in a direction between SIP Phone and UA phone
Hi
Are the SIP phone set configured as SIP device? Because of the release, right?
I don't know a lot, maybe Tot3nkopf and Alex can explain better than me, but it needs an IP trunk loop.
Because you are in the same LAN, same domain, It couldn't have problems with audio... Usually problems with audio we have when it has different LANs, VPN, etc.
Upgrade can help you or a SR with ALU.
I hope to help you.

Re: No audio in a direction between SIP Phone and UA phone
Hi,
Yes, the SIP phones are configured as SIP device.
For upgrades, I have already tested the last patch in R9.0, H1.301.50.a. For SR, we don't subscribe SES/SMS contract.
Thank you
