Can I mix IBS and RBS for one area?

Dear friends,

I have a doubt in dect installation.

Whether I can use IBS ans RBS basestation for one area.

I mean is it possible to have the hand over between IBS base station to RBS base station?

Please any body can clear my doubt.

Hi Tony,
You can install IBS and RBS in a system but the radio coverage of two domains must not overlap otherwise you can have the Campus effect. Moreover the handover does not operate between RBS and IBS.

Switching RBS to IBS area will make your call "on hold" during the process.

But whether one dect phone can access IBS and RBS.

If I gave the same pari number of RBS to IBS also, can it works.

I am facing a problem that I hand over from IBS to RBS is not happening. It is not even going to hold.

Can please brief about the configuration. ?

Remove the soundcard and use the on-board one for a while. It might be your iissue.

Also, make sure that your on-board sound is disabled in the BIOS if you are using the soundcard.
