No Logins of MyPhone possible: "Licenced number of user

Hello All,

Some users have the following problems ( OXE 7.1 with OTUC Server ):

Sometimes a user gets the error message "The licence associated with this user is not correct. Licensed number of users already reached (-4,132)"

We have enough licenses purchased, I donÂ´t understand this ...

I know, that hardphones and softphones counts in the same way. I only setup MyPhone users, no MyAssistant users, so it should not be a problem.

It seems for me, that some dead connections causes the error ....

Any ideas?

Hi,
Where do you see this error? On OTUC? If so, where exactly?
On OTUC the license is counted by user created, not by user online.
Go to http://otuc:8083/webAdmin and then to license section, launch an audit and verify everything is ok.

Thanks for the fast reply!
The error occurs at client (MyPhone) side, when trying to connect to the OTUC Server.
I launched an audit, everything seems to be ok. All stats are green!

And the OXE licenses? You need also licenses on that side.

Lock 117 value? (4980 SoftPhone)
Lock 129 value? (MySoftPhone)
Lock 313 value? (eCC Gateway)

Can you please tell if you are using Websoftphone only or WebIp Softphone?

How can I check the licenses on the OXE side?

We are only using IPSoftphones (4980 Client ), no WebPhones.
The WebPhones are created by Default, when I choose "Thick Client", arenÂ´t they?
Nevertheless, at creation time I never got an error....

Run spadmin option 2 on your OXE, if you are not the OXE manager ask to your administrator to do it.
Maybe that is the problem, that you doesn't have the licenses on the OXE.

Have you created the GhostZ extensions needed for 4980IP?

Hey there,

What is your OTUC version and what is your 4980 version?

On the OTUC side you cen get a snapshot of used licenses:

/opt/Alcatel/FlexLM/lmstat -a

And there is FlexLM log under /opt/Alcatel/logs/FlexLM/lmlog.log

I had something similar (but I think it is different then your problem) after power outage, when all PCs got shutdown but OTUC server didn't. Error message I had was "The license associated to this user is not correct", restarting otucd solved everything. However as far as I remember we got some fixes for 4980 (new lmflex.dll), it was OTUC 3.0.7 long time ago so I don't remember details.

The problem is an hardware problem (network interface) of an Softphone Client! Seems he logged in several times ( automatic login)!?!?!

Is there any newer version than V1.0 of the SoftPhone Cliens????
