DTMF on sip device from sip extension and ip phone

i have an intercom (ITS) connected to a gate relay declared as a SIP DEVICE on the OXE.
I have sip clients declared as SIP EXTENSIONS. Voice calls in between the devices is OK.

To open the gate connetcted via a relay on the gate, 8 needs to be pressed when the caller answeres.

Sometimes this works ( 20% of the times ) . Is there anything i might have overlooked in the config to allow DTMF on the SIP devices ?
