DTMF feature in SIP Trunks

Post by jonnel_ponesto »

Hi,

We configured a SIP trunk connected to a Provider, calls were fine however if there is a need to use the DTMF feature the client cant dial the extension they want to call. Is there a possible way we can use that feature in a SIP Trunk?

Thanks,
Jonnel

Jonnel,

Most of SIP is using G711 codec, but some like Verizon are using G729 in the USA.
This will make a difference in the DTMF (inband / outband).
Can you figure it out and let us know ?

Thanks

Hi Frank,

Thanks for the advice, I made some adjustment in Timer 299 and it seems the DTMF is working.

Thanks again,

Jonnel
