IPTouch 4038 reset

Hi All,

i,ve got a problem with several iptouch 4038 (Extended Edition).
They reset all the time. All other 4038 non EE work fine.

In booting process in 4/5 all downloads failed. I think it's a binary problem. But i'm not sure.

I've allready searched the forum but the right answer isn't there.

Hi. I do not believe EE is supported under that release. You will have to check in tech doc. When you download the release, you have a doc with the hardware supported by that release. Regards

hi, go to ip parameters for the user and turn off reset for update as the software for these phones are not in 6.0

thx for your hints, but my problem is that an option like "reset for updates" isn't shown in my menu. Is Users --> [setnumber]-->TSC IP USER the right location for this option? In this location it's only available set type, voice coding algorithm, terminal ethernet address, ip address, ip domain number and use of volume in system. That's all.

last version for this software is f1.603.1.ak I think. Does that one have the feature automatic update in user/ip paramerters? I can't find one running here so not sure.

My solution for this problem is to change all EE-Edition sets with "old" sets.
