Mobile IPTouch 300

Post by garth »

Hi,

At my workplace we have Mobile IPTouch 300 WiFi phones about 40 of them and we haven't been able to implement them as we continue to get errors on them where they will drop out in the middle of a conversation and come up with the Error Assert.Memory.C Ln561.

Does anybody have any idea as to why this would happen? We got the guys who originally installed the wireless base stations for this handset to test the RF ect and it all seemed to be fine as far as I am aware.

Regards.

Tried to put on the latest one and that got rid of the assert memory error but caused the phones not to charge up and the battery in the handset to get really hot had an OH&S complaint about the heat the phone was producing.

Also noticed these phones are generally pretty slow to respond. Waiting on the next release hopefully that will fix it.

Latest should be r_noemipt_r2_109.025

r_noemipt_r2_109.023:
XTSce83585 MIPT R2 Battery doesn't charge with ROHS MIPT if the MIPT is "swicth on"

Latest? Which version exactly?

PS: The following bugs were solved in 23 too:
MIPT R2 Intensif Assert g729.c ln 182
MIPT 300 Assert g729.c ln 182 - MIPT 300 is blocked during a call

For the wifi i know that there are new file (to download from businesspartner site) to put into the following directory:
usr2/downbin/wifi. after this it's necessary to reboot.(make a copy of old file before).

Pretty sure thats the one we have at the moment, they installed a patch for the assert memory then the batteries wouldn't charge when the phone was turned on but we are still getting the Assert Memory Ln 561 error.

I'm not sure. But I guessed it could be your problem.
