Using OXO release 4 over WAN connection

Post by prewest »

Hi,

i`ve got several OXO`s that we would like te manage over IP,
from release 5 through 7 it works perfectly after i forward port 443.

but on release 4 and below i can`t get it to work with only port 443.
i`ve also tried forwarding port 30020/30021TCP but without any succes.

the gateway that is set in the OXO is OK.

does anyone here know the corrects ports i need to forward to communicate with the OXO? or is this not possible on release 4 and below?

Hi

R4 doesn't use port 443. R4 uses ports 30021, 31000 to 31002 in FTP mode. I've tried to do it too, but it hasn't worked. It doesn't work.

HI,

Alcatel OmniPCX Office configuration flow (FTP mode)
Protocol IP sources Ports sources IP destinations Ports destinations
TCP PC IP@ * CPU IP@ 30021
TCP CPU IP@ 30021 PC IP@ *
TCP PC IP@ * CPU IP@ 31000 to31002
TCP CPU IP@ 31000 to 31002 PC IP@ *

thats seems right.
IS FTP blocked on the router?

ISP uses NAT for WAN connection.? My ISP (Bell Sympatico) uses NAT on the WAN connection that connects me to the Internet. ( I assume to share public IP addresses between multiple subscribers) My Internal LAN uses the 192.168.0.0/24 subnet, and my router uses the 192.168.2.0/24 subnet as its WAN connection. My external IP address reads as a public IP address from websites.

Hi all,
I saw this subject and I will be really pleased if somebody could help me because I'm really going mad with maintenance over IP.
I install my pabx (R7 version) with:
On PABX: IP: 192.168.0.246 / Router: 192.0168.0.1
If I connect on PABX with PM5 on lan it works well.
Now I want to log on on the same PABX but from Internet.
So in my router, I use NAT to forward port 443 to 192.168.0.246
I use omc 8 with my external address but no chance, it does not work.
Any idea?
Thanks in advance

Hi

Is 192.168.0.1 (oxo default gateway) the router LAN port?
If yes, your settings seems right. You can have a problem with the router. You can have a conflict of ports. Microsoft Exchnage web app uses the same port.
