Hi All.
Have anyone tried to install 4760 R3.0 on Windows Server 2003? We are now trying that but we find that the installation of 4760 is interrupted. It stops when it tries to insert database in Sybase ASA. Is there any solution for that please?
Thx a lot.

Where did you get CDs?Which version exactly?
We have the same problem with CD delivered from Alcatel with version R3.0.15.00c.
Looks like some files from Alcatel's CD can not be read during installation though they exist on CD
I loaded 4760 from BPWS, burned CDs - and installation went fine without any problem

We are using the CD Delivered with version R3.0.15.00c, which is exactly you mentioned. Which version have you downloaded from BPWS that is able to be installed?
Thx.

Actually I downloaded the same R3.0.15.00c version.
As I mentioned there is something wrong with the delivered Alcatel' CD itself

just a guess, but there is a possibility that the winnt\temp dir is full. If so, you can set a new variable to redirect the temp directory on a larger partition of the disk.
This is documented in the install pdf on the cd
Hope this helps

I have also had an similar problem. I just copied the whole cd to the harddrive and installed from there.
It worked fine for me.
