Hi there, OXE R9.1.
I've set up a SIP trunk to a public network. Installed the numbering discriminator rule, DOD translation etc. Everything works fine, except international calls.
National numbers here have fixed number length (E.164), so all discriminators are like 2,-1,3,11 - where 2 is first digit, 3 - ARS route number, and 11 is the called number length. The resulting SIP URL looks like <+72xxxxxxxxx@isp.gate.way>
For international calls, instead, I must have 255 as number length, in order to fit any variety in the world. For ISDN trunk groups it's acceptable and is working ok.
BUT!
The SIP URL gets malformed after the first digit of the country code. Say I try to dial 34 56 xx xx xx xx, the call gets released by the gateway after I dial 3, because the SIP URL looks in traced like <+3@sip.gate.way> - no further digit is even processed by OXE.
What am I doing wrong?
Thank you!
SIP URL from called number - problem with length!!!
Re: SIP URL from called number - problem with length!!!
Hi, try setting the length to 20. if 255 the call is released as overlap dialling but if you set to 20 it will either wait to dial after the 20th digit of after a timeout if no more digits are dialled after say 15. the call is then sent as enblock.

you need a block mode prefix (ARS seizure) without overlap. Also check the dialing command table command = I

The command table does have "I" of course. If I change the prefix to without overlap, a caller waits more than 20 secs before the first connection tone in any call, that's TOO long...sipop wrote:you need a block mode prefix (ARS seizure) without overlap. Check timer 18 or 136, I don't remember exactly which one.
