shorthes path bridging 802.1aq or MC-LAG

Post by m00n »

Hello
I read somewhere that os10k support 802.1aq spb, but in the os10k configuration guide is nothing about that. So the question is the MC-LAG is the same as SPB ? if not how can i configure SPB ?

SPB is OS10K/OS6900 only.

Have a look at reference no. 5 of the SPB page on wikipedia.

hello

Datacenter bridging is planned for Q1 2012. This will be a good step for this line of product.

hello
As I was checking, MC-LACP and 802.1.aq are based on the same RFP

http://tools.ietf.org/agenda/81/slides/l2vpn-3.pptx

also check
http://www.scribd.com/doc/67558757/Data ... hitectures

I had hands on it in our lab, SPB and MC-LACP are the same.
hope that helps
