ACTIS MU LAW AND A LAW

Post by kangistra »

Hello,
I have to prepare an ip centralization with version 7.1 and 9.1. So far, no problem. But, but. I have one site in a A law and the other one in mu law. They are in different country.
The country of the mu law pbx is in Taiwan. Then known by ACTIS as a mu law system, wathever all the configuration on this pbx is in A law (node an trunks)
I am working with ACTIS 15.2 and ACTIS 16.x. With the both release of ACTIS, it is not working.
Is any one know how to bypass this limitation ?

Regards,

Maybe this topic helps viewtopic.php?f=222&t=3649&p=17127&hilit=mu+law#p17127

Otherwise contact ALU for this.

Hello,

Thanks for your answer. I have read the topic and already new about those technical fact.
My question is purely about Actis. As he didn't accept "IP Centalization" design between pbx in A Law and µ Law.
I have contacted Alcatel-Lucent and waiting an answer from their CSA guys in Brest.

Hello,

I got an answer from ALU thru BPWS Service Request.
Reply from ALU : "The only solution for this is to change the market for the Taiwan offer to Singapore. Taiwan falls under µ law country and its not possible to centralize this with a A-Law offer. If both offer being in the same law, centralization is possible. Please send us the complete OPS files (hw, hardware.mao, swk etc) so that we can do the market change."
