Multiple configuration with command line

Post by mihakaufman »

Hi everybody,

wanted to know if there is a simple way to configure/set the attribute for about 300 IP-phones/stations - "reset for update authorized +" to NO.
I know, you can set the filter for users in the mgr - and just go thru every user who has the attribute set the yes.

But as i am coming more from the computer side ... i where wondering if the alcatel guys have some tools/commands or hidden commands to do it easily,
i know there is another way with the 4760, but i would like to use the command line.

Thanks for your answers.

hi

the thing that you can do is to script the mgr actions.but you have to do it once for all users to log the actions and then you can turn them off with just one command.(you have to do the same to turn them on)
you can search in the forum for scripting mgr actions.exept if you have the time and patience to write the script.
