No beeping on Multiline

I am working on an issue release 4.1 (d1.305) that been running for 4 years.

Last week, not all but some, Users suddenly unable to hear a beep on second incomming call on the multilline if he/she is on the first miltiline.

Rebuilding the User did not resolve the issue.

Anyone have any idea? If not I am going to reboot the PCX to see if that will fix the issue.

Try resetting "Protected against Multiline Rringing" in the phone features Cos. Set it to 1 accept and the back to 0. Maybe this helps.

User/ Dynamic state user - Busy camp-on, box must be checked. Customer dial suffix "camp-on control" or soft key "CampOn" on 4035 set was pressed.

Probably should check if it is activated the next parameter in the Phone Facilities Cateogry

mgr/Categories/Phone Facilities Category/
Ringing tone In Handset: [0 or 1]

Set it to 1 if the user wants to hear the ringing tone in the handset for the second incoming call
Set it to 0 if the user doesn't want to hear the ringing tone in the handset

Go to the Phone Facilities (of the users/s) and set the parameter Protected against beeps to 0. If it is set to 1 All beeps are stopped; if you want to disallow beeps on external calls there is another parameter to check: Beeps on external calls

issue resolved, thanks for all the input.

It took a double bascul to fix the issue.
