System release R9.1 . Trunk Group Mixed ; signaling type is R2/MF and trunk COS is 28 every thing lookslike working fine at test level ;but when released to users lot of phenomenas appears
like no audio even communication is established .
lot of error with faxes impossible to send fax FROM FAX machine nor from OFS
error on faxmachine and OF IS 700 for user level
BUT FOR admin level in OFS The real code is 702 T30 Error=131363 (Phase B, Third frame check error without good frame),AND for inbound faxes the error code is 709 T30 Error=131371 (Phase D, T2 timeout) and only the header of the coversheet is received .
so do you think that isue is with public operator . according to erroer code in of must them performing a data packets lost control.

Looks more like problems with VoIP (SIP, RTP) than with PCMR2 (TDM).haroun wrote:

Might be synchro problem but you see that the communication is established - that means line and register signalling on PCM worked well.
As long as your public operator provides you with "real" TDM connection (no E1<->IP converters in between) and no problem with syncro on both ends then your R2 connection should be the last to blame.haroun wrote: so do you think that isue is with public operator . according to erroer code in of must them performing a data packets lost control.

we forgot ofs , the issue still existing when we use the pcm link for voice means some times you have no audio when communication is established or sending faxes using machines only you have communication errors . ofs works fine when we use PSTN Analog lines or Z line of PCX !

2months ago solution found but i would like to share with u
A vsiual control of the board shown that there is a sia-64K alarm also cplalrm confirms that ,and ofs error code at administrator level say that check if packet are not lost when digital lines are used,clear it's a synch problem , i was trying to play with synch and crc 4 according to G703:704 and G732
issue solved when i force synchro with pstn ;sync priority put to zero and remote system changed to 1B1G w/o CRC4 and Alarm switched off and fax are sent and received without errors
Also no silence in the communication. if system1A1G is used it doesn't work
in Parallel a ticket was open at ALU TS when we inform them about the solution they recomand to decrease the synch priority to 198 .
also i forced the public carrier to check their equipement because presenting lot of alarms (return of silence confirmed by ofs error code : no fax deteted) amazing but the STM1 system was'nt in synchro
every thing is going on now zero alarm in the pcm board /trunks.
Finally OFS/faxmachines via pcmr2 works only if system is synchronised with the pstn otherwise errors occured .
