do we need to type write memory flash-synchro after changing passsword? I realise that after changing password,the running configuration will be in working mode. Will it load back to the previous password if i reboot the switch?

Not realy, the password is saved in network/userTable5. After password change it shows a new date stamp.
However the switch noticed that changes in the running configuration have been made but not saved and asks to confirm exit without saving. After reboot you need to enter a new pass. userTable5 is module depended.
