My IC 8082 on 8.2 OXO

Hi Guys,

Having a problem getting contacts from LDAP directory onto the MyIC 8082 using the LDAP connector. Testing the connection brings a success but no contacts on the phone. There is a little red Icon

Are there settings on the phone I'm missing??

The system is 8.2 OXO.

Hi,

The red icon mean that you havent logged in to the phone. So even though you can make and receive calls the phone is working on a restricted mode. Normally when 8082 installs in your oxo it will ask you to enter user password (which is the default 1515 or 151515 if ur running 6 digit password) . Once you enter it the next screen asks you to change the password.

sometimes the 8082 doesnt ask for password OR you have missed entering it when the phone asked for it.

go to userinfo and try to enter password and then the red icon should go away. then you will get the full features like LDAP search, missed calls etc etc
