Oxo to oxo vir sip trunk, calls drop on transfer

OXO R8.2 to OXO R8.2 vir sip trunk at each end, calls drop when new call is pressed.
Any suggestion appreciated.

Can you show us traces of the dropped calls?
Did you played with direct RTP option (enable it and disable it on both OXOs)?

We have turned off RTP on one system and made an out going call back to the same system on a ddi and the call still droppes when new call is pressed. We will turn RTP off on the second system and test again and will advise. Wire shark trace attatched.

RTP turned off on both systems and the calls still drop when new call is pressed. Calls from a normal land line or cell phone are ok.

Please explain your full architecture. I see a SBC in between (Acme packet).
This is no OXO to OXO. It looks like OXO<-->SBC<-->Avaya Aura????<-->SBC<-->OXO

hi tot, your correct the issue is from oxo's with a SIP provider. it is apparant between either 2 oxo's that have trunks from the same provider or in fact even if the call is from and to the same oxo.
I work with Alec but have been tied up with my main role (OXE's) so have not had a chance to assist him with this. it looks to me that in frame 6298 we send a SDP update and the carrier responds with a trying then send BYE to each leg of the call.
To me it looks like the carrier may be the issue here. do you agree?

Yes you are right Murray. Look for Avaya Aura issues with transfer and hold (on Internet you will find similar issue with Microsoft lynk and Avaya Aura)
Probably method used is different for OXO and Avaya (interconnection issue --> probably known).
