Exporting greetings from 4645 VM

Post by mikecel79 »

Is it possible to export the greetings from one mailbox and import them into another? We have 7 auto attendents that are all the same. Instead of having to re-record them all over everytime it would be nice to record it once on one mailboxe, export and then import into the other mailboxes.

You can't export greetings AFAIK. But you can prepare a greeting on a PC and import it to 4645.
System Documentation/Voice Mail/Alcatel-Lucent 4645 VMS/Maintenance/Option 12: Interactif import of greeting or Option 13: Automatic import of greetings

Thanks I didn't even think of that. However when I try to use option 12 I get an error message. The message says "Sorry system is not initialized: check language or the system law". Any ideas?

As it says.
Do you have 4645 running on the CPU where you run Eva_tool command?
Do you convert PC file to the format mentioned?
Be careful, the format of file should be:
a G711 format, law A or Mu
or a linear format type PCM with 16 bi
