VPU6 ON LAN

Hi,

Tied of always driving to the main site just to reset a voicemail password, i finally connected the LAN cable and the PING replies well. Now my problem is how do i access the main menu because telnet gives me port 23 error. On the same PC i can telnet into the system CPU 6 without a problem.

hi, there is no access to the menu from ip on vpu6. normal connection is via v24 so 3 options....
1: put seperate modem onto the voicemail cable
2: install and use RMA board. this is designed to give access to multiple v24 ports from one modem.
3: connect the v24 cable to a PC onsite that you can remote access across the VPN.
