Hi friends,
If I keep any Analog phone off-hook for extended period, after some time error tone (howler tone) comes but port never locks out.
But it should lockout after sometime. Is there any setting for this - please suggest.
Thanks, Sudeb
eZ32 port off-hook for extended period
Re: eZ32 port off-hook for extended period
Yes. There is a Timer after this Port goes in MISCALL State. See System documentation for Timers.
Re: eZ32 port off-hook for extended period
timer 12 default is 150 15 sec
Re: eZ32 port off-hook for extended period
big fault in alcatel system
Re: eZ32 port off-hook for extended period
yea i guess itss too bad that at least when we re set the equipment the issue isnt corrected. most of the time i face this issue when i up grade the system. and when i get any analog sets as miscall i have to delete and re create it again.
Re: eZ32 port off-hook for extended period
did you try termstat d "xtn No." and reset port (opt 5 I think)?

Re: eZ32 port off-hook for extended period
Hi may be you don't understand murray
but this is my way To stop such as issue
i launch listinacall <cystal n°>
I localise the miscall sets
i do termstat d <directory number)
option 1 confirm miscall state (or option 4 tobe sure is in incomm)
option 5 reset equipent
quit
after that i do outserv d <diretory n°> ,and like this i stop the open loop issue
it's the first job wich i do every morning
but question still why so basic option "automatic disconnect of equipement after detection of loop ,grounding bad line , or off hook tone for more than 15 sec" witch is avalaible on lot of third party equipement(nortel , panasonic, ericsson) is not avalaible on oxe or availaible on oxe with e-z32 only? not this issue can cause the lost of z-24 board entire.
because z-24 doesn't have an embeded local cpu ? strange
