DECT4HB whit DTM wont work. please help me.

Hi,

I have a pbx whit a RBS dect system running on R2.1, old as hell, yes, but does the work.

The system have 3 DECT4HB boards where one is the syncro board whit DTM.

The system is old, one day the dectsystem where malfunctioning, the phone didnt ring so on. So we rebooted the system one early morning.
Since then we are not able to get the board whit the DTM to work, so we send the customer a new one that we did know work.

Shortly what we have tried,
- Shutdown the system again, ejected the CPU board and put it back in the slot. No effect at the DECT4HB whit the DTM board. The other once went up.
- Deleted the board in the mgr, and created it again, didn't work. only says REGISTERED NOT INITIALIZED.
- Tested if the new DECT4HB whit DTM would work that we shipped to the customer, it did not.
- Tested to switch two DECT4HB boards, the one whit AEMD board went up and the one whit DTM didn't. So no fault on slot in the pbx.
- Removed all DECT4HB boards and only inserted the one whit DTM, didn't work.

Shortly, I cant get the DECT4HB whit DTM up and running in any slot. And I have tried a new one that I tested in my office before I shipped it to the customer.

Now I have run out of ideas, so hopefully someone have some tips to me.

In your lab do you have R2.1 (when you checked the board)? Maybe the release is too old and does not recognize newer DTM hw...Did you checked the hw compatibility matrix for that release?

Yes, I have a old cpu 5 running R2.1 and the board went up as it should do.

But, I have read something about the Cpu might generate a clock for the dectboards, so their is no need for a dtm board? The DTM board is only required when dect is used in a multi act environment?
Hos do i check this?

I cant find where to set if the cpu should act as a "dtm" board.

Yes, I have read those chapters, but I still cant find where to set the syncro, or should I assume that is is done automatically?

CPU5 does not support DTM sychro backup (from sys doc). Check if you have the "VIVALDI" chip on CPU5 step 3.
Can you show us the output of infocs command?
Did you checked if there are 2 DECTHB for redundancy of the synchro?
Also in DECT/PWT:
-->Network synchro master is set to YES or NO?
-->System generation--> default is 2 (but I think in order to download firmware to DECTHB board you should choose the 1st generation).

Installed is a CPU5-2, so no syncro their.

Their is no dect dtm present because the system wont accept the dect4hb board.

No, the costumer has only one board whit dtm board on? Dont know why, didnt installed the system, only supporting them.
Now Im running inter ACT handover, False.

And because the system is so old, their is no menu whit system generation. So I cant set 1st or 2st generation.
