OXO Voice mail box feature

Dear Team,

I have a query please suggest.


I am using Alcatel 4039 IP phone connected to "X" EPBAX but this EPBAX does not has voice mailbox feature so in order to
have voice mail box feature we connected another "Y" EPBAX that is Alcatel Omnipcx (s) which is directly
connected to "X" EPBAX. Connectivity diagram as shown below.

Earlier connection:

"x" EPBAX (no voice mailbox feature)-------->IP Phone

Modified connection (present connection)

"X" EPBAX (no voice mailbox feature) <--------> "Y" EPBAX(voice mail box feature) <-------> IP Phone



Please let me know by doing the above setup would I be able to achieve the voice mail box feature in my IP Phone?

If yes then how and if not then what is alternate solution.
