I need to get off the Windows server running 2003. I am trying to install A4760_R5.2.03.00.c on a Windows 2008R2 machine running in a Hyper-V environment.
I have the 4760 license file on the new server
The install is failing when tomcat is created
OV4760 ExecuteActions 09:20:08: create_service_tomcat: Execution failed, exit code not in 0.
OV4760 ExecuteActions 09:20:08: End of action create_service_tomcat: FAILURE
OV4760 ExecuteActions 09:20:08: Execution failed, looking for lock file.
Anyone have any ideas? I know 4760 is not supported on Hyper V and only validated on VMware but I was thinking someone would be able to confirm if I am wasting my time trying or if I should just try to get a VMware machine to use.
ALU seems to have terminated my BP login account so searching their documentation is not option.
Any help would be greatly apperciated.

It's on a domain. I turned all the firewall settings off.
Still fails at the tomcat install portion listed above

Re: Moving to a new server
I tried starting over with the installation this time connecting via Console.
Same failure
Action: Installation of Tomcat
Action: Replacing tomcat port
Action: Creation of Tomcat service
FAILURE: Create_service_tomcat

may be the firewall is still on if the profile is "unidentified network".tjm0852 wrote:It's on a domain. I turned all the firewall settings off.

Hi tjm0852,
Thanks,

how is the network configured? private or domain or unidentified?
For clarification, are you saying that the PC is configured as a "Member of a Domain" when you are installing? I believe, if the PC will eventually be part of the Domain, you must take note of the Domain name and put it as the "Primary DNS suffix of this computer." Proceed with the installation by having "Member of a Workgroup" only. Afterwards, you can join the PC on the Domain. It's on a domain.
Thanks,
Zero
