How to upload annoucement to OTBE Voicemail

Hi,

I have a client who need to change his voicemail announcement.
He provide me the new annoucement in WAV and MP3 format.

I asked my Alcatel supplier how to upload a sound file as an annoucement, but he replied that it was impossible to do this with OTBE, and that I'll have to play the file on my laptop while the handset's microphone is near my laptop's speakers.

We are in 2014, I can't believe there is no other option to do this, so I ask you : is there a way to upload sound files to an OTBE Voicemail ?

What exactly you want to change? The presentation guide?

I want to change the voicemail announcement of the reception ("Sorry, we are closed, but you can leave a message after the beep...").
But since it's a pretty big company, they want a professionnal quality announcement, they don't want to record it from the handset, which is understandable.

Which vm you are using? Um, 46x5, LCS?

It's the one included in OpenTouch Business Edition.

So should be LCS then. Just search for the WAV files on it and replace the one you want.
Of course, not supported, meaning, after you do an upgrade it could be wiped out so you would have to do it again.
