Hi all,
I am working in local government offices and we have installed CCS onto a new PC. It worked fine on the old PC but it seems we need to edit the ccs.ini file in order to get the excel reporting working on the new PC.
I can see that there is a place to enter the PC name within the .ini file but does anyone know what else I'll need to change?
The rest of the software appears to work, its just the Excel reporting.
Many thanks,
Russell

Re: CCS.ini file migrating to new PC
Just the reporting feature, I think. It may be that a reporting server needs to be specified in the .ini file?

No such thing. What happens, what is the exact error

Re: CCS.ini file migrating to new PC
Just had a chat with the user.
She goes to: Statistics > excel > Automatic edition restart
and it says
"No configuration of automatic statistics has been programmed"
Sorry, I might have been misleading earlier. Do they just need to configure automatic statistics and if so, how?

Just spoken to the user and it seems she is trying to get the "statistics" section working.
When she goes to: Statistics > excel > Automatic edition restart
She gets this error:
“No Configuration of automatic statistics has been done” (or similar)
Perhaps nothing to do with the .ini file?

Yes they do. Follow ccs guide. It is on installation folder.

Re: CCS.ini file migrating to new PC
Thankyou. I have looked at the user guide and am still not clear on what needs to happen to get Excel statistic working.
We need it to save the statistics to a server folder. Do we just need to specify this, and the location, within the CCS software, or do we need to edit the ccs.ini to get Excel statistics working?
Thankyou very much for your help.

Re: CCS.ini file migrating to new PC
in this case you have to edit the ccs.ini
