Virtual Controller with IAP on different subnet

Hi guys,
Can a virtual vontroller control IAPs 93 on different subnets or i need a physical controller?

All IAP in the same vlan create a domain and elect one of them to act as virtuell controller. If you have a IAP in an other vlan, than this IAP will be it's own virtuell controller.
with OAW-Controller you can manage AP's in different vlans.
