Audiocodes MP112

Post by jbower »

I am getting an error when i try to call a fax line on an audiocodes device that "the number you have dialed is not authorized".

So i have number of these devices setup and they work fine. This is the first one i am using for faxing. I created the fax line as a SIP device. Any suggestions of settings i should look at going forward?

Attached is a copy of my ini. file for audiocodes.

I have now been able to send a fax with this setup but i cannot receive a fax. I get "the number you have dialed is not authorized". So i am 50% there. Any suggestion would be great.

In SDP part of INVITE message you have G711U only.
Looks like your endpoint in MP112 is not configured to handle this codec.
So try with G711A or configure MP 112 to work with G711U.
