PRA-T2 can't come Inservice ( INIT 2 RUN)

Hi all,

my oxe running on R11. i faced problem with PRA-T2 board, it could not come inservice whenerver i reset card or reboot system. it's hang on INIT 2 RUN .

i must remove APA, SLI cards and PRA-T2 card also, then deleted and created again PRA card , insert PRA card back to system. it come inservice.

the problem come again whenever the system reboot or PRA card reset.


any pro can help me, pls !

i upgraded system to R11.1-l1.301-31-a-vn-c82 . the problem still there.


if the T2 access was created before the card was inservice, the hang will be hang on INIT 2 RUN.

i had to delete the T2 access on trunk group and reset card by rstcpl comand, then it came back to inservice.
Then I created T2 access and assiged to trunk group.

Did you replaced the board with another one to see if the behaviour is just the same?

yes. i tried with new one. and faced same behaviour

Which kind of CPU you have and how many boards?

i using CS-2 board, and only one now.

And how many boards on your whole system depending of this CS2? 3 full shelfs?
I ask because could be a processing issue where your CPU can't handle the whole requests and just won't start your board.
Have you tried a different position for it?

it NOT FULL.

i tried with other slot and other new PRA-T2 board. But got same behaviour.

i just want to confirm that

Weird, seems that processing is not the problem.
Usually I insert the board and system will initialize it.
If no TG using it then will get free but already running. Then you can add to a TG or create a new one for it.
If a TG is configured (scenario where you replace a board) then it should work without any issue...
Which version are you running?
