Greatest archive reader

Post by alex »

Found out greatest archive reader of all the time! :D :D :D
You need a binary for a PCM2 coupler from Release 3.2? There is no need to install this SW version on HD! Just open "cpiofile" in a delivery with 7-zip and browse to /usr2/downbin directory!
You need OPS files or VG file from customer's backup? There is no need to load Release and DB onto HD! Just open "mao-acc" file with 7-zip!
Where WinZip and WinRAR fail, 7-zip works!
Download latest version from
http://www.7-zip.org

Ah,
Also if you use some uni* (maybe MAC OS X, or linux) there is tool like CPIO or TAR, or gzip :) they work also.
and if you need there is a ext2 filesystem reader/writer for windows, for connecting HDD to your box when CPU's hdd is broken.
go: http://sourceforge.net/projects/ext2fsd

it works for OXE >= 5.1 Lx
so, no use for any Ux release
