Dear sirs
We have on our company an Alcatel OmniPCX 4400 with WM1 cabinet. Our phone center manager is long gone and we have no idea on how to manage this system. Recently we called a support guy from our provider and he told me that the system is still on the initial configuration although i have no clue on what he meant. So i need to find all the default configuration parameters and also how to connect to this pbx so that i can manage it all by myself as we are on a tight budget.
Thanks in advance.

Re: New on Phone Systems
tight budget needs tight phone system. and 4400 is not really tight. it is a complex system with a huge database to match many configuration scenarios. so if you have no expierience... better pay for service.
when you will try, use google and find the default connection data (easy) or the system docs here in the forum. good luck!

Thing is this system is in the company since 2000 but the guy that used to manage it has died.. Also we cannot afford to pay for service.. I have searched Google numerous times but have found nothing that could help me make the physical and the digital connection to it...
