Invalid Port or Encapsulation

Hi All,
Please i do i resolve the problem of configuring a SAP saying invalid port or wrong encap?.
The same physical port has other SAPs on it and in service, so this is not where i can change the physical port properties.

Here is the error reported; MINOR: CLI SAP-id has an invalid port number or encapsulation value.

Please help urgently...

You need to make sure the encap-type under the physical port matches the SAP you are trying to add.

So for example you will get the error if you have configured:

port <port-id> ethernet encap-type dot1q

and you try and add a qinq SAP matching an inner and outer tag. For that example, would need to change the encap-type to "qinq".
