I have os6850 optics switch that port 1/17 in down state , i connect cpe to that port and the port always down , i change to another port and the port goes up , do you know dshell command that can check the hardware of the port ?

i don't know a dshell command. have you checked the config? rebooted the switch? used latest firmware?

Assuming you have checked autoneg and also swapped out SFP?
