Interface description

Hi all,

sorry didn´t find in search. How can i describe a port like in cisco?

as i use : interfaces 1/1 alias "text" i get no error
but when i do Show alias :
Error : No alias defined? and i cant see where my text .

@ edit .. seems the above is only working with 6900.. i found on the web where the description is shown:

Show interface port.
Does anyone know if this description is sent with snmp traps?

please use "show interface port" in R6-Switches and "show interface alias" at R8
