Hi! I am looking for alternative vendor compact flash card for 7705/7750. Tried 8 gb SunDisk but after some time it always fails for 7750 SR-c4 until reformatting and does not work for 7705 sar-8 v1/v2 at all. Maybe someone have good experience in changing CF card?

This is an old thread, but I thought I'd share what I found when I was looking into this for others that may come across it.

I did not have very good luck with non-Nokia/Alcatel CF cards in my 7705s. I didn't have a large sample size to test, but the few I did were not very successful.

I did some research on the Swissbit website and found there are a few variations on the card that ships with my CSMs, but couldn't find the exact one. That did highlight a bit of the part number nomenclature from Swissbit, though, so I knew a little better what to look for.

I ended up sourcing some from eBay that matched the part number on the back of my cards, except they were 4GB instead of the 2GB I had. Part number that I sourced was SFCF4096H1BO2TO-I-D1-543-ALU. I don't know the story on where these came from or how they got into the hands of the eBay seller, but these did work for me.

I didn't find it until after this experience, but I do believe the documentation specifically states non-Nokia sourced flash cards are unsupported.
