Hi,
We are currently using OmniVista8770 to managed our VoIP telephony but we are in the process of switching to another system. We are now in some kind of hybrid stage where some user are still managed in OmniVista and others are already migrated.
Therefor we need to forward internal calls, to migrated user, externally so calls are routed by the SBC to the new system.
We'd like to continue working in waves of 100+ users at the same time.
What I did thus far is, for each migrated user, change the Forward tot Immediate forward and Forward Directory Number from the internal extension to the external number (e.g.: 6789 to 0012346789, appending "001234" each time).
This was quite intensive manual work.
My knowledge of OmniVista is pretty basic and I suppose and hope there is an easier way to do this.
My main question is: Can this be simplified or automated? Would you take another approach?
Specifically I was wondering if there was a way to script this starting from an csv-file?
Or to export the config, edit it (manually or automatically) en import it back with the changes?
Thanks in advance
