Hi,
Is there a way in OmniVista 4760 and in telnet on my PBX 4400 to see how many lines of my ISDN-trunk are in use? I want to see if we have enough external lines. Can I monitor this by making a scheduled report of this in Omnivista (I didn't find such a report, so how do I program it)?
Thanks and merry Christmas,
Stef

Re: ISDN-lines in use
trkstat 'trunk group #' (without the quotes)
You can also do trkstat 10 -r (for refresh on any change in status)
You can find your trunk group number by:
trkvisu all

You can use also the web based interface.
https://my_oxe_ip/wtool/html/tools.html
Search for wtool in this forum for more informations.
But for your need I would suggest you to use the Traffic observation tool.
You can check your line usage (trunks) there per half hour and day.
cd /usr4/pmm
obsappli
(Exit with Ctrl+c and Validate with Ctrl+v)
Another funny tool is trkbusy <TG Number> <Hold time> but it's very CPU time consuming and could generate problems with the system stability.

Re: ISDN-lines in use
If you have overflow set up you can simply make a report in Omnivista regarding a specific direction on the secondary (overflow TG). This way you can see how many times your primary TG is full.
