Voice guides
Customer has recorded dynamic voice guides onto system and working fine.
Now the customer has had some professional guides recorded to replace the guides he recorded via the telephone handset.
I know the dynamic guides are in usr7/vg/dhs as i can view them.
Can i replace the voice guides with the customers recorded guides via ftp ?
If so and what format is required or do i need to you VG transfer tool ? If so what is the procedure ?
Sorry for so my questions just a little nervous touching the voice guides that are in place.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Voice guides
Not as straight forward as that unfortunately.
You really need an application called "Alcatel Audio Station" to convert the WAV file to file type needed for the OXE.
Don't be fooled by the fact you can FTP existing guides from OXE to PC and rename by adding .wav extension and listen on PC.
The conversion process by AAS creates a checksum and a couple of labels inside the file amongst other things that the OXE needs to recognise it as a valid file!
