SMDR and CSTA Information Request

I would appreciate any comments as to which is the best mechanism for extracting ticket data from a 4400 system.
Also any advice on how to setup either or both CSTA or SMDR

Under - system - V24 ports- (port number) you can configure the serial ports on the cbrma box.

under Terminal Type - choose either VT100 or Printer
under Application - choose the appropriate one.

But you must have the correct license to obtain tickets

The Alcatel 4400 has in integrated Call charging module “integrated metering” also.

It’s possible to use IP instead of a serial port if you have the license for it.
