remote maintenance

i have a problem with remote maintenance system. i need to install an external modem to access OXE.
i have US ROBOTICS 5631 modem to be connected to MOXA port, but it still doesn't work.
i have connected DB9 to DB25 cable,with configuration like this:

please help me how to set up this modem....,,,, thank's before....

You need a null modem cable when using a modem...or a null modem adapter will work too.
