my doubt is: how is the hotel computer link port /dev/io2tty29 (43) will talk to the TA adaptor? is there anything i have missed?

the customer does not have obca daughter board. is that why i cannot connect using TA adaptor???

is it possible to use config cable and connect com B to the interface pc of fidelio?? in this case how do i program com B to be hotel frontoffice interface?

i am trying to connect to comC port of cpu for frontoffice computer(fidelio)
but when i program from system>v24ports, it is saying software protection error

Whithout OBCA or IO2 board you cannot use V24 port with TA adaptor. About protection error - you can have only one port for front office PC.

the customer has got the license for AHL over IP but the version of fidelio the customer is using does not support IP. It only supports V24. Is it possible for me to connect the MOXA and give the V24 output to the customer? Is there any license required to cnnect the MOXA box as i dont get the option system---remote V24 configuration option under mgr.Please let me know how to go about it as this is very very urgent.

Is your AHL link working. Can you send a breif note on parameter to be set.

by the way, moxa box is the only solution for V24 AHL for OXE in case of "common hardware" because there is no free V24 port on CS, except console. moxa makes 4 additional V24 ports for applications like AHL and etc. Of cause you need no OBCA on CPU, moxa communicate with CPU frought special software drivers. I think it will work with crystal CPU as it works with CS. And it possible will be "low cost" way to make remote console, remote hotel menu, and remote V24 if we sum cost of TA, busy UA port, OBCA etc. My company install this kind of setup for hotel in OXE r5.1.2 and it works just fine several years
