DPT1 connected to Dialogic for IVR

Post by suidish »

We are currently trying to setup an IVR system with our Alcatel 4400. I have successfully installed the Dialogic DMV480A2T1 into a Server 2003 machine and a DPT1 board into the alcatel. Both systems see both cards and using a T1crossover cable i can test the Dialogic board and achieve green lights. I can't, however, achieve green lights when plugging the DPT1 board into the Dialogic board. I've created the Board using the Omnivista frontend and also created a trunk group w/ access to that DPT1 board. When i make changes in the alcatel i can see it talking to the Dialogic board through the lineadmin monitor program, but can't get it to connect properly. I was wondering if anyone knows the settings for the Alcatel system(using Omnivista) to properly setup connectivity between the two boards..........

first thing is that the DPT1 card will only work one T1 after this is done. So the second access cannot be used. Downfall of the DPT1 resources that have to be used. I will send a document on some of this. First the card must be configured as IVR-Z24, and protocol section set to OPX-FXS protocol. Go down to digital access and set it for SF and AMI. Next you build analog users and assign them to the ports on that board. so if the board is in shelf 0 and slot 10 then the first user is at 0-10-1, and so on to 24. the users need to be set to Z IVR= Yes and you can set the ACD to IVR as well if you are going to use the CCD to route calls to the IVR. You should be able to call a user extension you created to see if it answers. Let me know how it's going.
