ip touch couldn't talk with 9 series digital

i have oxe common hardware consist of two rack 3
when i connect 4039 set to the expansion rack and dial 4038 set which belong to domain 0 the set is ringing but there is no sound when i took of the handset
plz can you help

Check ur compressors status, because when u call from IP phone to TDM (analog or digital ) compressors are used...

post ur compressor status thro compvisu..

i use gd board with mada3 i set 4 compressor for h323 gateway and 4 compressor for ip phone and 1 compressor for conference
and i have 2 ga board with mada1 i set 1 compressor for conference
and i have ga board with mada3 i set like gd board

Hi..

You said GD with mada3 but u configured 4 compressor for h323 and 4 for ip phones and 1 for conference wht abt reamining 15 compressors..

I am sure ur making mistake in ur compressor configuration...if u want to know exactly how many compressors has to be configured you need check it in the actis, actis can show exactly the number of compressors for ip phones and conference...

Open the zip file in actis go to cabinet just move ur mouse to the GD place it will show u the compressors configuration same way do it for GA ...and configure the compressors according to that ur problem will be solved

Not 1 compressor for conference - just 1 conference (default modularity 7).
In this case on MADA3 we have free 16 compressors.

what release exactly.
when TDM set in main shelf with voice (4039-4038) problem exist or not?
No problem with incoming/outgoing call (from external line, analog set ...) for 4038?
No security on LAN (f.e. RTP trafic GD-4038 allowed but GA-4038 not)?

my release is h1301 static patch 28 and dynamic 28b
when i connect 4039 to main rack there is no problem but when i connect it to expansion the problem exist between them (4039 and 4038)but there is no problem between 9 series and for incomming or outgoing
but for 8 series when making outgoing call or incomming call the sound is very low
there is no security on the lan
there is no vlans
we use alcatel switches

mada dauther board on the expansion rack wasn't active so i disabled them
and now there is no problems
