Providing PSTN services through other location on VoIP

Post by reza666 »

Hi guys,

how is possible to provide a location with no local PSTN Provider connection to get out through HQ trough VoIP?

Here is the situation:

I am working in location A, our PBX is connected to local PSTN provider for connecting to outside calls
For dialing out I just pickup the phone and dial 9 follwo-up with telefone number
I have a VoIP location B with seperated PBX with no local PSTN provider
Location A and B are conneted through IP Trunk to each other
How can I provide location B the same as in location A for dialing out through location A by dialing 9 follwo-up with telefone number?

Thx
Reza

Of course you can: basic break in (use translation to speed dialing pointing to IP of the remote site), break out configuration (dial - fromremote site - IP TG prefix + ARS prefix of the remote site + PSTN number).

I think you will also need to ensure Connection Category 5 is allowed to connect to category 5 and make sure PNC of IP trunk group allowed for access areas.
