Real Useful Commands to help you in Troubleshoots

For those of you who are in troubleshooting areas, you should know the commands stated below here by hard as it will come in handy when you are tracking some weird problems and also it helps you narrow down the possibilities.

1) trkstat -r (trunk group number)
    - checking the trunk lines status as well as errors
2) cplstat (shelf number) (board address)
    - Checking the card's status
3) listerm ([color=#FF0000]shelf number[/color]) (board address)
    - provides you with a list of circuits that's available within a card and also the circuits' status
4) termstat d (extension number)
    - checking extensions' status and others like forward and related information

Thanks for correcting me, I try to follow the terms used by the Alcatel System. In layman terms, that should be the correct ones. I had quite a choppy connections here due to some power outage at the exchange, I tried to edit my post but none of them can be submitted.

One more command I would like to add:-

1) config all (listing of all the cards available in your system and status)
2) downstat (downtime status of the card in the system if you have any)

These commands is a must to remember in our head as troubleshooter as without them you will have a hard time tracing them.
