Replacing MAC Address error

hello,

i have been trying to replace my faulty IVU with new one,
i have replaced the new MAC address under tscip but error message is appearing " object -1: terminal ethernet address: invalid attrib value"

what would be the issue?

Are you copying / pasting the MAC address?
Did you try checkdb to validate the database?

Hi frank

I have tried to manually adding through omnivista and also from the terminal both giving the same error

Are you sure the set is set as an IP set or SIP?
What does the CheckDB Show?
Did you try to delete the extension and re-create it?

yes its an IP set,

i have tried to delete the extension, but its was giving me error i cannot delete it "set unavailable or operator in a bad state"

what type of extension is it? Call center? Operator?

Yes it is a call center, main lines and linked to several ext.

You need to remove this set from being an agent most likely . make sure it is logged off. then remove the agent feature. I think. but something like that.
