OXE crystall hardware and VG board - us I undertand system was migrated from 4400. What ype of CPU do you have? If CPU6 - you can use VG function from CPU.

Thank you for your responses. The migration was a 4400 to Applicance Server with INT IP A card.
Maybe the solution is to change the VG board by a GPA2?

Thanks.

Are there any specs for pcmcia card reader/writer and for flash cards?
i've got reader specs and it says:
- 3.3V/5V
- 16/32bit
- PCI specification v.2.2
- type 1, 2 Card types
- Cardbus Master/Target protocol
- PCI Master/Target protocol
- Posting Write & Prefetching Read for PC Card bridge
- Supports 16-bit Legacy mode (3E0/3E2 I/O Port)
- Support Zoomed Video Port (Bypass type)
- ACPI & PCI Bus Power Management 1.1 compliant

will it work with AAS?

For read/write flash card we use notebook with PCMCIA slot under W'98 with SwapFTL2000 tool.

right, it's no Swapftp2000, its 'swapftl 2000' :)

and for guys trying to search for pcmcia cards:

there are flash cards (that could have static VG) and ram cards (with LI batteries) with dynamic VGs (the later are better, huh).

from: TC0299, part numbers of flash cards (static VG storage):
− AMD : AMC004DFLKA
− INTEL : IMC004FLSA
− FUJITSU : MB98A21273
− CENTENNIAL : PM 24343 30100 35413 B FL04M
− SMART : SM9AMD4M002

orginal card reader/writer is:
SCM SBP-D2 PCI
(two port pcmcia card reader/writer mounted in floppy bay in front of the PC).

still no spec on DRAM/SRAM pcmcia card...
