A user on OXE MG with 4645 can not reach his voicemail box, the system plays the voiceguide "This mail box is already used by someone else". I deleted and recreated the box from 4760 - no changes. I deleted the box from Eva_tool and recreated it using 4760 - the problem did not go. I deleted the user account and recreated 15 minutes later with 4760- the same voiceguide.
What else can I do?

I had this problem before.
Alcatel TAC Basically told me to reboot the Voicemail. it's caused by a hung port. if you run vmail it should show you the port that is hanging.
I tried Running Eva_tool to rest the port but it did not work so I rebooted and it cleared up.

Disable and enabled all the lines and no luck. Eventually I had to re-boot the system during off hours. Is there a way to fix this without haveing to reboot? Yes, what is auditmevo?
You do not have to reboot the entire system. Just reset the GD on shelf 18 (that's the vmail shelf)
Certain releases the vmail doesn't come back up and an entire reboot is than necessary. But it seems they have fixed that in later releases.

Looking at the incidents you posted, we have some errors in ABCA messages between the 4645 and CS, as the incident 1401 is pointing to the GD on shelf 18 which is 4645. Normally when ever you have some error in working of 4645 we see incidents 5400 and 5402.
If the issue is recurring, I would suggest to open a ticket with Alcatel with all the information. I understand that it takes a long time for Alcatel to fix if its really an issue in their S/W, but there is no other GO.

We believe this is a bug. We have had 3 different sites all running R7.1 have the issue. We currently have a SR open with TSS however we have not been able to reproduce the issue in the lab.
These are running standalone 4645 on CS's.
I agree that you should log a SR with Alcatel to report the issue. We have not been able to find a way around the issue without rebooting, sorry.
