mastercopy
hi wizzy, during the mastercopy the database on the main cpu "freezes". The system functions as normal but all telephone set features are inhibited during the copy. Example forwards, key programming and in your case (call centre) agents would not be allowed to withdraw, log off, log in, etc. A mastercopy is a copy so the system mirrors the current status of the db, including set status. Calls are not affected.

Did you try to use the command "mao off"? It prevents changes to the database like setting a forward. During the saving of a databse with swinst also no changes to the database are possible because the mao is turned off.wizzy wrote:My problem is that I have to make a mastercopy in working hours. The status of the devices change and the mastercopy is not ocrrect. Always on a switch over my CCD has problems
During the mastercopy I made an agent log on. When the mastercopy finished an the stand by CPU became ready, I loged off the agent and I got a MAO error incident
After the end of mastercopy you have to use "mao on". You should check the status of mao with the command "mao -a" on BOTH CPUs.
