unable to logon as adminnmc

Post by IceMan_DUP »

Hi guys,

I,m having trouble loging on to 4760 as adminnmc or any other account.
When I try to logon I get a message saying: logon unsucsesfull. I have done a reset of the pc, reinstalled Java and 4760 but with no result.

Does anybody have any idea?

It's 4760 release 2.01.16.00 on a w2000 sp 4 machine

thanx

Hi Iceman,

all password are set up at the installation; you use the same ?
I know that it's a silly question but since the moment you've the screen to log you
I don't see an another problem !
You try to connect since a client or since the server ?

Hi,

Yes, I use the same password as in the setup but it's not working.....
I'm using 476o client but the server is running on the same pc.

In the connect to serverbox in the login prompt is the right name.

Is there a hidden username and password that you can use when you lost your normal password or something like that?
Maybe something in the registry I can change?

Was there an another installation of 4760 on this server ? I've the impression that there a file .ini which conserve the old password...
Perhaps, there's a way to change the password but idn't know it

Otherwise, the better is to uninstall (with the procedure), delete the registery's keys...

Good luck

Hey Iceman,

I am sure you did it.. But when you reinstall the 4760, you have to reinstall the SERVER, not the client only !

Realy?

No, I did that but it's not working.. I don't want to replace it with an image made a few months ago because of synchrnasation errors I might be getting. That's why I'm looking for other options first.

I think that's the only option left.

Asked my question on an e-service request to alcatel and the answer was:

You're F*** up! :( reinstall....
